Fish Mustard Curry

How to prepare Fish Mustard Curry



Ingredients:


  1. Fish (6pc)
  2. Onion (1pc)
  3. Tomato (2pc)
  4. Garlic  (1pc)
  5. Green chillies (2pc)
  6. Curry leaves
  7. Mustard seed (2tbsp)
  8. Cumin seed (2tsp)
  9. Turmeric (1/2tsp)
  10. RedChillyPowder (1/2tsp)
  11. Saunf n fenugreek seed
  12. Salt
  13. Mustard Oil (3tbsp)




Preparation Method:


  1. First marinate the fish pieces with 1/2tsp of turmeric, 1/3tsp of salt, 1/2tsp of mustard oil.
  2. Keep it aside.
  3. Dry grind 2tbsp of mustrd and 1tsp of jeera.
  4. Add 2 green chillies, 2 tomatos and garlic cloves to the powder.
  5. Add 1/2 cup of water and blend it to a smooth paste.
  6. Put the pan on gas and add 2tbsp of mustard oil in to it.
  7. Shallow fry the fish pieces.
  8. Take the fried fish pieces out to a plate.
  9. Add Panch phoron to left over oil.
  10. Add hing and curry leaves.
  11. Add sliced garlic and onion fry till it became transluscent.
  12. Add 1/2tsp of turmeric and 1/3tsp of red chilli powder.
  13. Fry it once.
  14. Add mustard paste and salt.
  15. Fry the paste for 3min.
  16. Add 1cup of water and bring it to boil.
  17. Then add fried fish pieces to it.
  18. Cook it for 2min.
