How to prepare Fish Mustard Curry
- Fish (6pc)
- Onion (1pc)
- Tomato (2pc)
- Garlic (1pc)
- Green chillies (2pc)
- Curry leaves
- Mustard seed (2tbsp)
- Cumin seed (2tsp)
- Turmeric (1/2tsp)
- RedChillyPowder (1/2tsp)
- Saunf n fenugreek seed
- Salt
- Mustard Oil (3tbsp)
Preparation Method:
- First marinate the fish pieces with 1/2tsp of turmeric, 1/3tsp of salt, 1/2tsp of mustard oil.
- Keep it aside.
- Dry grind 2tbsp of mustrd and 1tsp of jeera.
- Add 2 green chillies, 2 tomatos and garlic cloves to the powder.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and blend it to a smooth paste.
- Put the pan on gas and add 2tbsp of mustard oil in to it.
- Shallow fry the fish pieces.
- Take the fried fish pieces out to a plate.
- Add Panch phoron to left over oil.
- Add hing and curry leaves.
- Add sliced garlic and onion fry till it became transluscent.
- Add 1/2tsp of turmeric and 1/3tsp of red chilli powder.
- Fry it once.
- Add mustard paste and salt.
- Fry the paste for 3min.
- Add 1cup of water and bring it to boil.
- Then add fried fish pieces to it.
- Cook it for 2min.
