How to prepare Balushahi Recipe
- Maida - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Ghee - 1 Tsp
- Curd - 2 Tbsp
- Ilaichi powder - 1Tsp
- Oil to fry
- Baking soda - 1/2Tsp
- Water
Preparation Method:
- Take maida along with baking soda.
- Add Ghee and curd, Knead it well.
- Add water if required and make it a soft dough.
- Cover with a damp cloth and rest it for 1/2 an hour.
- Make the sugar syrup with eqal amount of sugar and water of 1 string.
- After half an hour take a small portion of dough.
- Round, flat, press at center on dough ball.
- Deep fry the dough balls on low flame.
- Put the fried dough balls in to the sugar syrup and keep it for 1hr.
- Serve the balusahi after sugar syrup get absorbed completely.
