Parwal Curry || Potola Rasa

How to prepare Parwal Curry/Potola Rasa



Ingredients:


  1. Oil - 4tbsp
  2. Sugar - 1/4tsp
  3. Whole Spices
  4. Onion Paste(1 onion)
  5. Tomato Paste(1 tomato)
  6. Ginger n Garlic Paste(2tbsp)
  7. Turmeric - 1/2tsp
  8. Red Chilly Powder - 1/2tsp
  9. Cumin - 1tsp
  10. Garam Masala Powder -1tsp
  11. Poppy Seed Paste - 3tbsp
  12. Corrinder Leaves(chopped)




Preparation Method:


  1. Put the pan on flame.
  2. Add oil 4tsp on pan and let it get hot.
  3. Fry the pointed gourd pieces till it became brown and soft.
  4. Put another pan on the flame.
  5. Add sugar and let it to melt.
  6. Add whole spices.
  7. Add onion paste, ginger n garlic paste, tomato paste and mix all together.
  8. Add red chilly powder, freshly grounded cumin powder and garam masala powder.
  9. Fry till moister get evaporated.
  10. Add fried pointed gourd, mix with the masala.
  11. Add 1cup of water.
  12. Cover the lid for 5 min on midium flame.
  13. Check out after 5 min.
  14. Add chopped corrinder leaves.
  15. Now serve parwal curry with rice or roti.
