How to prepare Parwal Curry/Potola Rasa
- Oil - 4tbsp
- Sugar - 1/4tsp
- Whole Spices
- Onion Paste(1 onion)
- Tomato Paste(1 tomato)
- Ginger n Garlic Paste(2tbsp)
- Turmeric - 1/2tsp
- Red Chilly Powder - 1/2tsp
- Cumin - 1tsp
- Garam Masala Powder -1tsp
- Poppy Seed Paste - 3tbsp
- Corrinder Leaves(chopped)
Preparation Method:
- Put the pan on flame.
- Add oil 4tsp on pan and let it get hot.
- Fry the pointed gourd pieces till it became brown and soft.
- Put another pan on the flame.
- Add sugar and let it to melt.
- Add whole spices.
- Add onion paste, ginger n garlic paste, tomato paste and mix all together.
- Add red chilly powder, freshly grounded cumin powder and garam masala powder.
- Fry till moister get evaporated.
- Add fried pointed gourd, mix with the masala.
- Add 1cup of water.
- Cover the lid for 5 min on midium flame.
- Check out after 5 min.
- Add chopped corrinder leaves.
- Now serve parwal curry with rice or roti.
