How to prepare Chicken Kasha Odia Style
- Chicken 500gm
- Potato 2pc
- Onion 3pc
- Tomato 1pc
- Ginger 4inch
- Garlic 2pc
- Cumin Seed 2tsp
- Corriender Seed 2tsp
- Bay Leaves 2pc
- Clove 3-4
- Cinnomon Stick 2inch
- Star Anise 2pc
- Black Pepper 8-9
- Green Cardamom 2pc
- Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
- Corrinder leaves
- Mustard Oil 1tbsp
- Sugar 1/2tsp
- Salt
- Make a paste of bay leaves, cinnamon, star anise, black pepper, cardamom, cumin and corriender seeds.
- Put a kadai on flame.
- Add oil, bay leaves, 1tsp cumin seeds.
- Add 2pc slied onion.
- After onion changed color add turmeric powder and masala paste.
- Fry the masala till moisture get evaporated.
- Add chicken pieces, potato, salt, chopped tomato and water a little.
- Cover and cook till chicken get soft.
- Keep stirring meanwhile by scraping the bottom of the kadai.
- When chicken get cooked well turn off the flame and add chopped corriender leaves.
- Take out to a plate and serve famous odia recipe Chicken Kasha.
