Chicken Kasha | Chicken Dry Fry

How to prepare Chicken Kasha Odia Style




Ingredients:
  • Chicken 500gm
  • Potato 2pc
  • Onion 3pc
  • Tomato 1pc
  • Ginger 4inch
  • Garlic 2pc
  • Cumin Seed 2tsp
  • Corriender Seed 2tsp
  • Bay Leaves 2pc
  • Clove 3-4
  • Cinnomon Stick 2inch
  • Star Anise 2pc
  • Black Pepper 8-9
  • Green Cardamom 2pc
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
  • Corrinder leaves
  • Mustard Oil 1tbsp
  • Sugar 1/2tsp
  • Salt
Preparation Method:
  • Make a paste of bay leaves, cinnamon, star anise, black pepper, cardamom, cumin and corriender seeds.
  • Put a kadai on flame.
  • Add oil, bay leaves, 1tsp cumin seeds.
  • Add 2pc slied onion.
  • After onion changed color add turmeric powder and masala paste.
  • Fry the masala till moisture get evaporated.
  • Add chicken pieces, potato, salt, chopped tomato and water a little.
  • Cover and cook till chicken get soft.
  • Keep stirring meanwhile by scraping the bottom of the kadai.
  • When chicken get cooked well turn off the flame and add chopped corriender leaves.
  • Take out to a plate and serve famous odia recipe Chicken Kasha.
