How to prepare Perfect Vermicelli Rava Upma
- Rava/Suji 1cup
- Vermicelli 1cup
- Mustard seed 1/2tsp
- Cumin seed 1/2tsp
- Black gram lentils 1tsp
- Curry leaves
- Onion 1pc
- Tomato 1pc
- Ginger 1inch
- Green Chillies 1pc
- Corrinder leaves
- Salt
- Cooking Soda 1pinch
- Oil 2tbsp
- Fry the vermicelli with 2tsp of oil and dry roast sooji.
- Add oil in the kadai.
- Add cumin seed, mustard seed, urad dal, curry leaves.
- Add chopped ginger, green chilli, onion and tomato.
- Fry it till it became soft.
- Add 3cups of water and let it to boil.
- Add fried vermicelli cook for 2mins.
- Add roasted rava/semolina/suji with stirring continuesly.
- Add chopped corrinder leaves.
- Switch off the flame and cover it for 3-4mins.
- Serve it now.
