MIx Veg Curry with onion n garlic in Odia Style

How to prepare Odia Ghanta Tarakari Recipe




Ingredients:
  • For Masala Powder we need-
  • Jeera 1tsp
  • Corriender Seed 2tsp 
  • Dalchini 1inch
  • Star Anise 2
  • Clove 2pc
  • Black Pepper 8-9
  • Bay Leaf 1

  • For making Ghanta we need-
  • Mustard Seed 1/2tsp
  • Jeera 1/2tsp
  • Curry Leaves
  • Dry chillies 2 
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Dry Peas 1cup (Soaked overnight)
  • Ginger Garlic paste 2tsp
  • Haldi 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1tsp
  • Hing
  • Cumin Powder 1tsp
  • Chopped Corriender laeves
  • Salt
  • oil 1tbsp

  • Veggies we need-
  • Pumkin
  • Brinjal
  • Potato
  • Raw Banana
  • Arbi
  • Radish
  • Beans
  • (Any Vegetable of your Choice)
Preparation Method:
  • Prepare the masala powder.
  • In a cooker add oil, jeera, dry chillies, bay leaves, dalchini and saute this.
  • Add Sliced onion, Soaked dry peas, ginger n garlic paste.
  • Add all dry masalas, salt and all chopped veggies.
  • Mix it all together.
  • Pressure cook it for 2 whistles.
  • After released pressure add cumin powder 1tsp and corriender leaves.
