How to prepare Odia Tomato Khatta Recipe
- Chopped Tomato 11/2cup
- Peas 1/2cup
- Dates 7-8pc
- Mustard oil 2tsp
- Panch phoran 1/2tsp
- Curry Leaves
- Green Chillies 2pc
- Crushed Ginger 1tsp
- Jaggery 1tbsp
- Grated Coconut 1tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
- Salt 1/2tsp
- Heat the pan and add oil.
- Add panch phoran, green chillies, curry leaves, crushed ginger.
- Fry it till raw smell of ginger goes away.
- Add chopped tomato and peas.
- Add turmeric powder and salt.
- Add 1/2cup of water n cover the lid.
- Cook till tomato get soft.
- Add jaggery and deseeded n chopped dates.
- Cover till dates get smooth.
- Add grated cococnut and turn off the flame.
