How to prepare Kanda Poha/ Chuda Upma
- Flattened rice(Poha)-100 gm
- Peanuts -50 gm
- Chopped onion-2 (medium)
- Green chilli 1-2 chopped
- Ginger chopped 1/2tsp
- Lemon 1/2
- Curry leaves
- Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/3 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil-3 to 4 tbsp
- Chopped coriander leaves
- Wash the poha and soak for 2-3mins.
- Strain it and keep aside.
- Add oil to the heated kadai followed by peanuts and fry it for 3mins.
- Add mustard n cumin seed.
- Add chopped onion.
- Add curry leaves, green chillies, chopped ginger.
- Fry till onion get translucent.
- Add turmeric powder, mix it well.
- Add the strained poha, salt.
- Stir well.
- Add lemon juice, chopped corriender leaves.
- Take it out to a plate n serve.
