How to prepare Maharashtrian Amti Dal
- Toor Dal 1 Cup
- Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil 2tsp
- Mustard seed 1/2tsp
- Cumin Seed 1/2tsp
- Onion 1pc
- Crushed Ginger n Garlic 1tsp
- Dry chillies
- Green Chillies
- Hing a pinch
- Tomato
- Curry leaves
- Red chilli powder 1/2tsp
- Goda Masala 1tsp
- Tamarind Extract 2tbsp
- Grated Coconut 2tsp
- Sugar 1tsp
- Chopped corriender leaves
- Cook washed toor dal with turmeric n salt to 3 whistles.
- Heat the pan and add oil to it.
- Add mustard n cumin seed to it.
- Add chopped onion n fry till it get transluscent.
- Add curry leaves, ginger n garlic paste, dry n green chillies, hing.
- Add chopped tomato n cook till it get soft.
- Add cooked dal.
- Add red chilli powder, goda masala, sugar, tamarind extract, gratedd coconut.
- Let it to boil.
- Add chopped corriender leaves and turn the flame off.
