How to prepare Ragi Porridge/Mandia Jaau
- Finger Millet/ Ragi 1cup
- Cooked Rice 1cup
- Buttermilk 1cup
- Salt to taste
- Water 4cups
- Mix the ragi powder with some water and keep aside for 30mins.
- Heat the kadai and add water, let it to boil.
- Add salt to taste.
- Slowly add the ragi mixture by stirring continuesly.
- Keep stirring till it get thick.
- Add the cooked rice.
- Mix well and switch off the flame.
- Let it to ferment overnight.
- In morning add buttermilk to it and mix it well.
- Serve it with some onion and green chillies.
