How to prepare Methi Saag with Moong Dal
- Moong Dal 1cup
- Methi leaves 1bunch
- Mustard Seed 1/2tsp
- Cumin Seed 1/2tsp
- Mustard Oil 2tsp
- Crushed garlic 1tbsp
- Urad dal 1tsp
- Dry chillies 2pc
- Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
- Salt to taste
- Tomato 1pc
- Blanch the methi leaves.
- Dry roast the moong dal and soak it for 15mins.
- Put a pan on flame.
- Add mustard oil 2tsp.
- Add mustard seed, cumin seed, dry chillies, urad dal and crushed garlic.
- Fry till raw smell of garlic goes away.
- Add soaked moong dal, turmeric powder n salt.
- Cook it till moong dal get soft bt not mashy.
- Add chopped methi leaves, tomato.
- Cook it 5mins more with the lid.
- After 5mins take away the lid and fry till moisture get evaporated.
- Serve it now.
