Jeera Chicken

How to prepare Jeera Chicken 



Ingredients:
  • Chicken 300gm
  • Onion 1pc
  • Ginger n garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Cumin Seed 1tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2tsp
  • Corriender Powder 1/2tsp
  • Garam Masala 3/4tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon 1/2pc
  • Green Chillies 2pc
  • Oil 2tbsp
Preparation Method:
  • Dry roast the cumin seeds.
  • Crush it to coarse powder.
  • Heat the pan and add 1tbsp of oil to it.
  • Add sliced onion and fry till it became light brown in color.
  • Add ginger n garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes away.
  • Add turmeric n red chilli powder.
  • Saute well.
  • Add the chicken pieces.
  • Add crushed cumin powder, corriender powder n garam masala powder.
  • Add salt n water 1/2cup.
  • Mix it well.
  • Cover n cook till chicken get cooked well.
  • Add splitted green chillies, lemon juice.
  • Add chopped corriender leaves.
  • Switch of the flame and serve.

Odia Machha Munda Chhenchada

How to prepare Machha Munda Chhenchada 



Ingredients:
  • Fish Head and fillets
  • Cabbage 100gm
  • Bengal Gram 1/2cup
  • Onion 1pc
  • Tomato 1pc
  • Ginger n Garlic paste
  • Mustard seed 1/2tsp
  • Cumin Seed 1/2tsp
  • Nigella seed 1/2tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2tsp
  • Garam Masala 1tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1tsp
  • Chopped corriender leaves
  • Mustard Oil 2tbsp
Preparation Method:
  • Soak the gram dal for 1hr.
  • Heat the tawa and add 2tsp of mustard oil to it.
  • Fry the fish head along with the fillets.
  • Fry it from all sides.
  • Let it to cool.
  • Brake them with your hand to small pieces.
  • Heat the kadai and add 2tsp of oil to it.
  • Add mustard seed, cumin seed and nigella seeds to it.
  • Add sliced onion and fry till it get translucent.
  • Add 1tbsp of ginger n garlic paste.
  • Add strained gram dal along with chopped tomatoes.
  • Fry them till tomato get soft.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder n garam masala to it.
  • Mix it well.
  • Add 1/2cup of water and let the gram dal to cook.
  • Add shredded cabbage to it.
  • Cover n cook till cabbage get soft.
  • Add fried n broken fish head and fillets.
  • Cook it till moisture get evaporated.
  • Add cumin powder n chopped corriender leaves to it.
  • Switch off the flame.

Shalgam Cheela

How to prepare Shalgam/ Turnip Cheela 



Ingredients:
  • Shalgam 2pc
  • Onion 1pc
  • Corriender Leaves
  • Green Chillies
  • Besan 1cup
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
  • Red Chilli powder 1/2tsp
  • Garam Masala 1tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2tsp
Preparation Method:
  • Peel the skin of Shalgam and grate it.
  • Take it in a mixing bowl.
  • Add chopped onion, green chillies, corriender leaves to it.
  • Add besan, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt to it.
  • Mix it well.
  • Add splash of water to it.
  • Mix it well.
  • Heat the pan.
  • Add oil to it.
  • Add small portion of mixture on tawa and gently spread it.
  • Cook it for 4-5mins on medium flame.
  • Flip it to other side.
  • When the shalgam cheela became roasted on both side take it out to a plate.

Methi Moong Dal Recipe

How to prepare Methi Saag with Moong Dal 



Ingredients:
  • Moong Dal 1cup
  • Methi leaves 1bunch
  • Mustard Seed 1/2tsp
  • Cumin Seed 1/2tsp
  • Mustard Oil 2tsp
  • Crushed garlic 1tbsp
  • Urad dal 1tsp
  • Dry chillies 2pc
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Tomato 1pc
Preparation Method:
  • Blanch the methi leaves.
  • Dry roast the moong dal and soak it for 15mins.
  • Put a pan on flame.
  • Add mustard oil 2tsp.
  • Add mustard seed, cumin seed, dry chillies, urad dal and crushed garlic.
  • Fry till raw smell of garlic goes away.
  • Add soaked moong dal, turmeric powder n salt.
  • Cook it till moong dal get soft bt not mashy.
  • Add chopped methi leaves, tomato.
  • Cook it 5mins more with the lid.
  • After 5mins take away the lid and fry till moisture get evaporated.
  • Serve it now.

Sagudana Pana/ Sabudana Drink

How to prepare Sabudana Vrat Drink 



Ingredients:
  • Sabudana/ Sago 1cup
  • Curd 1cup
  • Sugar 3tbsp
  • Ilaichi 2pods
  • Banana 2pc
  • Grapes 50gm
  • Grated Coconut 3tbsp
  • Cinnamon Powder a pinch
  • Mixed Dry Fruits 2tbsp
Preparation Method:
  • Wash n Soak sabudana for 5-6hrs.
  • Blend the strained sabudana, curd, sugar, ilaichi pods.
  • Keep 2tbsp of soaked sabudana for later use.
  • In a mixing bowl take roughly chopped bananas.
  • Mash it a little.
  • Add grapes, grated coconut, soaked sabudana, chopped dry fruits.
  • Add blended mixture of curd and sabudana.
  • Add pinch of cinnamon powder.
  • Pour it in to a serving glass and serve.

Ingredients:
  • Whole wheat flour 1cup
  • Salt a pinch
  • Baking Powder 1tsp

  • Boiled Beetroot Puree 1/2cup

Ingredients:
  • Flattened rice(Poha)-100 gm
  • Peanuts -50 gm 
  • Chopped onion-2 (medium)
  • Green chilli 1-2 chopped
  • Ginger chopped 1/2tsp
  • Lemon 1/2
  • Curry leaves
  • Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/3 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil-3 to 4 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves
Preparation Method:
  • Wash the poha and soak for 2-3mins.
  • Strain it and keep aside.
  • Add oil to the heated kadai followed by peanuts and fry it for 3mins.
  • Add mustard n cumin seed.
  • Add chopped onion.
  • Add curry leaves, green chillies, chopped ginger.
  • Fry till onion get translucent.
  • Add turmeric powder, mix it well.
  • Add the strained poha, salt.
  • Stir well.
  • Add lemon juice, chopped corriender leaves.
  • Take it out to a plate n serve.

Veg Triple Schezwan Fried Rice

How to prepare Triple Schezwan Fried Rice



Ingredients:
  • *Schezwan Fried Rice with noodles*
  • 2 cups ¾th cooked, long grain rice
  • ¼ cup Cooked noodles
  • ¼ cup french beans chopped
  • ¼ cup carrot, chopped
  • ¼ cup cabbage, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Ginger garlic green chilly chopped
  • ¼ chopped spring greens 
  • 1 tsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Tomato Ketchup
  • 2tbsp Schezwan Sauce
  • 1/2tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt, to taste


  • *Schezwan Manchurian gravy*
  • For Manchurian balls:
  • ½ cup Cabbage, chopped
  • ¼ cup Carrot, chopped
  • ¼ cup Beans, chopped
  • ¼ cup Cauliflower, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp. Corn flour
  • 2 tbsp. Refined flour
  • 1 tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Red Chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Pepper

  • Oil for frying

  • *Schezwan Gravy*
  • Remaining Chopped Veggies
  • 2 tbsp. Schezwan sauce
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • !tsp Ketchup
  • ½ cup Water
  • Salt, as required
  • Pepper, as required
  • 1 tbsp. Cornstarch 
Preparation Method:
  • In a bowl thoroughly mix the Manchurian balls ingredients and make marble sized balls of it.
  • Fry these balls until brown on a moderate flame for 3 minutes and on high flame for 1 minute.
  • In a wok heat oil and add ginger-garlic-green chilli and once it sizzles add half the quantity of vegetables to it.
  • Toss on a high flame for 30-40 seconds and add parboiled rice, salt, black pepper, dark soy, schezwan sauce and toss.
  • Now add spring greens, cooked noodles, give it a final toss and transfer this to a bowl.
  • In the same wok, heat oil on a high flame and add the reserved quantity of vegetables to it.
  • Add the schezwan sauce, water, salt, black pepper and stir.
  • Now add water to cornstarch and pour it in the gravy followed by the Manchurian balls keeping few aside for garnish. Stir.
  • Finally, add the spring onions and turn the flame off.
  • Assemble the dish as shown in the video and serve.

Ingredients:
  • Toor Dal 1 Cup
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2tsp
  • Mustard seed 1/2tsp
  • Cumin Seed 1/2tsp
  • Onion 1pc
  • Crushed Ginger n Garlic 1tsp
  • Dry chillies
  • Green Chillies
  • Hing a pinch
  • Tomato
  • Curry leaves
  • Red chilli powder 1/2tsp
  • Goda Masala 1tsp
  • Tamarind Extract 2tbsp
  • Grated Coconut 2tsp
  • Sugar 1tsp
  • Chopped corriender leaves
Preparation Method:
  • Cook washed toor dal with turmeric n salt to 3 whistles.
  • Heat the pan and add oil to it.
  • Add mustard n cumin seed to it.
  • Add chopped onion n fry till it get transluscent.
  • Add curry leaves, ginger n garlic paste, dry n green chillies, hing.
  • Add chopped tomato n cook till it get soft.
  • Add cooked dal.
  • Add red chilli powder, goda masala, sugar, tamarind extract, gratedd coconut.
  • Let it to boil.
  • Add chopped corriender leaves and turn the flame off.

Ingredients:
  • Biriyani Rice 1glass
  • Desi ghee 2tsp
  • Whole masalas
  • Onion 1pc
  • Green Chillies

Ingredients:
  • Gobi Florets
  • Potato 2pc
  • Onion 2pc
  • Tomato 1pc

  • Flat Beans 250gm

Ingredients:
  • Boiled Potato 3-4
  • Blanched Peas 1cup
  • Mustard Seed 1/2tsp
  • Cumin Seed 1/2tsp
  • Onion 1pc
  • Green Chillies 2pc
  • Crushed Ginger n Garlic 1tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
  • Red Chilli powder 1tsp

  • Add blanched peas and boiled n diced potato.
  • Add the masala.
  • Mix it well.
  • Cover n cook for 5mins.
  • Add chopped corriender leaves.
  • Serve with rice n roti.

How to prepare Ragi Porridge/Mandia Jaau 




Ingredients:
  • Finger Millet/ Ragi 1cup
  • Cooked Rice 1cup
  • Buttermilk 1cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Water 4cups
Preparation Method:
  • Mix the ragi powder with some water and keep aside for 30mins.
  • Heat the kadai and add water, let it to boil.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Slowly add the ragi mixture by stirring continuesly.
  • Keep stirring till it get thick.
  • Add the cooked rice.
  • Mix well and switch off the flame.
  • Let it to ferment overnight.
  • In morning add buttermilk to it and mix it well.
  • Serve it with some onion and green chillies.
